At Pocket Gamer Connects London 2016, Alysia Judge spoke to Vancouver Economic Commission’s Digital Entertainment and Interactive manager Nancy Mott.

The Canadian city has long been at the forefront of game development in North America thanks to the big EA campus, which has encouraged the education system to support games, as well as spawning many startups, some of which have grown into substantial businesses themselves.

 

Integrated approach

Mott spoke about how the current wave of growth is being driven up mobile games and VR development, and how the Vancouver Economic Commission is working with high schools to provide the next generation of talent.
