Winter Games could pump $800 million into Vancouver region
The 2010 Olympics will pump $800 million in travel-related spending into the Metro Vancouver economy next year -- helping the regional economy grow by 3.9 per cent after shrinking by 2.1 per cent this year, according to a Central 1 Credit Union forecast.
