Cascadia Nanotechnology Symposium 2008

An engaging and informative two days devoted to exciting new developments in Nanomaterials, Nanoelectronics, Clean Energy and Nanomedicine in the "Cascadia" region. Featured will be keynote speeches by foremost leaders in the field plus presentations from innovative academics and companies who are leading the way in commercializing nanotechnology.

The business panel on March 5 will focus on “Applications, Investments and Opportunities in Nanotechnology”, featuring U.S. and Canadian venture investors, as well as companies who have raised significant capital - all in fitting with the theme of the conference: "Showcasing nanotechnology innovation to catalyze economic growth".

The keynote speakers are all from the U.S.: Dr. Pulicker Ajayan of Rice University, Dr. Paul Burrows of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Dr. Roald Hoffmann of Cornell University, who was the co-recipient of the 1981 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
