The 2010 Olympic Winter Games will mean a significant increase in activity on city streets, and reduced road capacity in areas surrounding and connecting venues. Games-time operations will reduce the capacity of the local road network into downtown by 20 per cent. That being said, streets are still open and downtown – as all other parts of the city – is still available for normal activities.
