VEC connects Asian business leaders to Vancouver investment opportunities at prestigious event

As Vancouver’s leading connector for innovative, creative and sustainable business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific, the Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) is hosting an unprecedented business forum during the 18th Teochew International Convention – a prestigious event with senior Asian business leaders looking for investment opportunities.

The forum is a first for the Convention. It will inform business leaders about opportunities in Vancouver’s Technology and Digital Entertainment & Interactive sectors, and include a pitch session with growing companies, such as Arcana Studios, Koolhaus Games, Vancouver Television International, Roadhouse Interactive, Longevity International Enterprises, WTFast Gamers Private Network, and eSportsPools.

The biennial Convention, which the VEC helped secure for Vancouver three years ago, is a first for Canada and is attended by over 3,000 global participants. It allows participants from all over the world to build and strengthen ties with the host city. This leads to enhanced economic and trade development opportunities.
