Rosa ensures the office runs smoothly and efficiently. In her role, Rosa organizes and coordinates onsite events with local business groups, international organizations, media events and VEC-hosted workshops, meetings, and roundtables. In fact, Rosa has become our internal IT expert, ensuring that our virtual meetings are delivered smoothly and professionally.

Rosa joins us after having a long and successful career working in various diplomatic offices and missions. Her broad knowledge of diplomatic protocol and experience in navigating official functions makes her an integral part of our team as we host local and provincial government events and welcoming incoming international delegations.

With a keen attention for detail, she oversees many of our key operational functions such as purchasing goods and services, coordinating maintenance and repairs, all while ensuring that our team has a happy, healthy and safe environment to work in. In the time that she has been here, Rosa has streamlined several internal processes and has implemented new office procedures that have improved overall organization and operation of the office.

Rosa is in fact, the office “go-to person” and impresses her colleagues daily with her resourcefulness, problem-solving abilities, and wit.
