Catalyzing Cleantech Opportunities in Metro Vancouver
As managers of critical infrastructure and assets—municipalities, utilities, and developers hold significant influence over how fast we will transition to a clean economy future. Fortunately, major organizations across Metro Vancouver are aligned by a shared commitment to the environment, and are aggressively pursuing ambitious sustainability targets to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, and waste. United in purpose, a group of forward-thinking organizations, convened by the Vancouver Economic Commission, have come together to form a technology deployment network. This initiative intends to accelerate the region’s smart and clean economy transition by onboarding new smart and cleantech solutions.
This reverse-pitch is a platform for organizations to pitch their pain points and challenges to the innovation community to accelerate this important transition together. Confirmed organizations pitching their needs include the City of Vancouver, Translink, the City of New Westminster, FortisBC, and Quadreal Properties.
